Organizing Committees

Anyone interested in organizing the Gumball Challenge at their college can form an Organizing Committee (OC).

OC's are primarily responsible for recruiting Competitor Teams (CTs) to participate in the challenge, but operate independently and make the Challenge their own. (Can do: find prizes, do publicity, etc.) They also disburse the $27 loans at the beginning of the Challenge and collect them again at the end. Gumball Capital will send each OC gumballs and a Starter Kit, along with enough money to cover the $27 loan per CT.

An OC must have at least two members to serve as the team captain and loan officer. Additional members can help with events, marketing, and fundraising tasks as necessary.

Unless you're the team captain or loan officer, being on the OC does not preclude you from also participating in the Challenge as part of a Competitor Team.

For more information, please see our Starter Kit.
